Terms of Service
Effective: August 20, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Mighty, a macOS application developed by Michail Anargyros Zamagias ("Developer", "I", "me"). By downloading, installing, or using Mighty, you agree to these Terms.
1. License Grant
I grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Mighty on your Mac for personal or professional purposes. This license is for your individual use and does not include the right to sublicense, distribute, or share access to the software.
2. Free and Pro Tiers
The free tier includes battery level and charging status, DPI and polling rate readback, and automatic device detection. The Pro tier unlocks additional capabilities, including DPI and polling rate changes, button remapping, wheel and pointer settings, receiver pairing, and per-device profiles, for a one-time payment. The current price is €14.99; prices are served from remote configuration and may change, and the checkout page is authoritative for what you will be charged. There are no subscriptions or recurring charges.
Which capabilities are gated is controlled by me on the server and can change between releases or without a release. I may also disable the paywall entirely, in which case Pro capabilities are available without a license. Changing this configuration does not revoke a license you have already purchased.
3. Payments and Polar (Merchant of Record)
All payments for the Pro tier are processed by Polar, who acts as the Merchant of Record for all Mighty transactions. When you purchase the Pro upgrade, your contract of sale is with Polar, not directly with me. Polar is responsible for billing, fraud screening, payment processing, and the collection and remittance of applicable sales tax / VAT / GST. How consumer-protection responsibility is divided between Polar and me is governed by Polar's Merchant-of-Record terms; nothing here removes a right you have against me as the developer. By purchasing, you also agree to Polar's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Polar's Merchant-of-Record disclosures are at polar.sh/legal/terms.
EU VAT & consumer rights. If you are an EU consumer, Polar determines and charges the VAT rate of your country at checkout, issues a VAT-compliant receipt, and remits the tax to the appropriate authority. You have the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU. Under Article 16(m) of that directive, the right can be lost for digital content supplied immediately, but only if you gave prior express consent to that immediate supply and acknowledged that you would lose the right. Whether that consent and acknowledgement were obtained is determined by the Polar checkout, which Polar operates and I do not. I do not assert that your withdrawal right has been waived; if it has not been validly waived, it remains available to you. Separately, and regardless of the above, the 30-day money-back guarantee described in the Refund Policy is offered to every buyer. It is in addition to your statutory rights and does not replace or waive them.
4. License Keys and Activation
When you purchase Pro, Polar issues you a license key by email and via the post-purchase landing page. You may activate that key on a reasonable number of personal Macs; deactivating a machine inside the app frees up a slot. The activation limit is currently set to three and is configured in Polar rather than fixed in the app, so it can be changed without a new release. Activations, deactivations, and enforcement of the limit are handled by Polar's license API. Activating a key sends a per-Mac identifier derived from your Mac's hardware UUID; see the Privacy Policy. I may revoke a license key if it has been refunded, charged back, fraudulently obtained, or shared publicly to circumvent paid use; revocation takes effect at the next activation or validation check, deactivates Pro features on the affected machines, and does not affect the free tier.
5. Restrictions
Except where applicable law expressly permits otherwise, you agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of Mighty. This restriction does not limit rights you have under mandatory law, including the decompilation and observation rights in Articles 5 and 6 of Directive 2009/24/EC.
- Copy, redistribute, or resell the software or any part of it
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks
- Use Mighty for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to circumvent the Pro license mechanism
6. Intellectual Property
Mighty, including its design, code, and branding, is the intellectual property of Michail Anargyros Zamagias. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you. All rights not explicitly granted are reserved.
7. Third-Party Marks and Compatibility
Mighty is independent software and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Logitech. Logitech, Logi, G HUB, and related marks are trademarks of their respective owners. Brand names are used only to identify compatible devices and software.
Mighty recognises a fixed list of Logitech product identifiers. Battery, DPI, and polling-rate features require a supported Logitech receiver (Unifying, Bolt, Nano, or LIGHTSPEED). A mouse connected only by USB cable is not supported. Directly paired Bluetooth mice on the recognised list are detected and listed, but the HID++ controls are not available over that connection. Mighty does not write firmware and does not modify your mouse's stored onboard profiles.
You are responsible for using Mighty only with devices you own or are authorized to manage, and only in ways allowed by applicable law and any third-party terms that apply to those devices or services. Compatibility can change when macOS, device firmware, or third-party software changes.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Mighty is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. I do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all hardware configurations. Use of Mighty is at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, I shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use Mighty. My total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Pro tier.
10. Termination
I may terminate or suspend your license at any time if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must stop using Mighty and delete all copies. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability survive termination.
11. Changes to These Terms
I may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Mighty after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or website.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Heraklion, Greece.
